Dance Movement Therapy & Psychotherapy
Welcome
Embodied Moon Counseling, PLLC offers individual and group Dance Movement Therapy rooted in somatic, creative, and expressive practices. I am a Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas.
My work invites the body into the healing process. Sessions unfold through movement, dance, rhythm, breath, improvisation, writing, art-making and discussion—listening closely to what the body knows and how it longs to move. Following sensation, intuition, and the body’s natural pulse.
I partner with clients to co-create healing spaces that are empowering, inclusive, and alive—honoring diversity, deepening connection with the natural world, and trusting the body as a source of insight, resilience, and transformation.
I work with children and adults, with a special interest in supporting secure attachment within families and with adults who foster healthy development for children through their professional roles.

Why the Moon? The Moon and its phases symbolize life cycles, renewal, and the natural ebb and flow of emotions. They reflect balance and duality, the presence of the subconscious, intuition, and the ongoing processes of growth and change. Looking to the natural world for inspiration offers a grounding entry point for embodying our own inner rhythms—balance, expansion and contraction, renewal, and rest.
This understanding aligns deeply with Dance/Movement Therapy. Through rhythm, flow, and intuitive movement, we can learn to regulate emotions within the container of the body. By reconnecting to natural cycles and bodily awareness, movement becomes a pathway for healing, integration, and emotional resilience.
In partnership with Into the Well Collective in Downtown Garland, TX.
This ongoing women’s wellness series meets monthly beginning in February. The group is open and welcoming—participants are invited to attend the full series or join individual gatherings as they feel called.
On June 4th, I will be offering a group experience that weaves art-making and movement, creating space for creative expression, embodied exploration, and connection within the circle.
